Warranty
Mermaid extensions are sold to professionals and salons only. If a client needs to claim the warranty, she returns to the professional or salon where her Mermaid extensions were purchased and applied.
The warranty covers the product. The service itself is warranted by the professional or salon — licensed by the brand or not.
What voids the warranty
- Improper use of the product
- Color alteration, or use of shampoo, mask or any product intended to alter color
- Physical alteration — cutting the wefts or trimming the length
What is not a manufacturing defect
- Gradual fading over time, exactly as with hair colored in a salon. Some shades fade more readily than others. This is corrected by the professional.
- Light shades — blondes and platinums — shifting after exposure to heavy sweat, pools, saunas, sunscreen, or shower water running through copper plumbing. That is oxidation or metal deposit, and a strand cleanse usually resolves it.

Privacy Policy
What we collect. When you submit the partner registration form we collect your name, company or salon name, professional profile, country/state, e-mail and phone number. When you place an order we also collect the billing, shipping and payment details required to fulfil it.
Why we collect it. Your data is used only to send you the wholesale price list, to contact you about a partnership, and to process and ship orders. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who processes it. Registration forms are delivered by FormSubmit. Orders, payments and store data are processed by Ecwid by Lightspeed and by PayPal, each under its own privacy policy. Shipping partners receive only the address data needed to deliver your order.
Your rights. You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Write to marcelobalanco@icloud.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies. This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the store and cart to function. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the store will stop working.
Terms of Service
Who we sell to. Mermaid Hair products are sold on a wholesale basis to salons, hair professionals, distributors and retailers. Registration and approval are required before wholesale pricing is released. We may decline or revoke an account that does not meet these criteria.
Pricing. Wholesale prices are confidential, are shared only with registered partners, and may change without notice. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes or duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Orders and payment. An order is confirmed only once payment has cleared. Accepted methods are shown at checkout. We may cancel and refund any order we cannot fulfil.
Shipping. Orders ship internationally. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates, and delays caused by customs or the carrier are outside our control. Risk passes to the buyer on delivery.
Returns. Hair extensions and adhesive bases are hygiene-sensitive goods. Unopened, unused product in its original sealed packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened product can be returned only if it is defective. Contact marcelobalanco@icloud.com before returning anything.
Brand and content. The Mermaid name, the Original Mermaid® adhesive bases, and all text and images on this site belong to Mermaid Hair and may not be reproduced without written permission. Registered partners may use supplied brand assets to promote the products they carry.
